IMPORTANT NOTICE. It is illegal to sell alcohol to people under the age of 18. By placing an order, you must confirm that you are 18 years old or above. You must ensure that no other person except yourself shall use your login to purchase alcohol products and a person aged 18 or above (identification required) must be present to take delivery, otherwise delivery shall be withdrawn and attempted at another time to be agreed between you and us.

 BACKGROUND. Henri Giraud Asia Ltd is the exclusive importer of Henri Giraud Champagnes in China, Hong Kong and Macau. It is referred hereafter as the ‘Company’ or ‘we’ or ‘us’. ‘Customer’ or ‘you’ means any person, firm, company, corporation or body which places an order with the Company. 

Those trading terms and conditions shall apply for all orders and transactions placed through and only through our online store on www.henrigiaud.asia. We reserve the right to amend them without prior notice.

These Terms and Conditions embody the entire agreement between the parties and they supersede all previous negotiations, representations and agreement between the parties. 

PRODUCTS, PRICING & AVAILABILITY. All product prices listed in our online store are in Hong Kong dollars. The applicable price shall be the price listed in our online store as at the date of purchase.

The Company shall make every effort to ensure that availability, prices, details and sizes of products on our online store are up-to-date. Those information are subject to changes without prior notice.

All orders are subject to our final confirmation and we reserve the right to reject the order in the event that any of the products or services requested are unavailable. In the event that we are unable to fulfill any order, we will notify you as early as possible. If the order is cancelled by us, if you have already made any payment, we will make a refund. You agree and accept that we will not be obliged to offer any compensation for disappointment suffered.

ENGRAVING OF MV BOTTLES. Customer should provide message and font or art work in AI format to be engraved on the bottles. Company can refuse any artwork or message that it deems against its branding policy. Engraving takes 3 to 7 days to be arranged.  

PAYMENT. We use third-party payment services to process online transactions. When you place an order, you agree and accept that your credit card information will be collected, processed, and kept by us and a payment service provider subject to its terms and conditions. You agree and accept that you are solely and exclusively responsible for any losses incurred or sustained by you in making credit card transactions, and in no event shall any such losses in whole or in part be borne by us. 

DELIVERY. You may enjoy free delivery service to a single location of your specified billing address when you make a single purchase of HK$3,000 or above at our online store. For purchase amount below HK$3,000, a delivery charge of HK$200 shall apply.

Delivery service is only available at addresses located in Hong Kong Island, Kowloon, New Territories, Tung Chung, Discovery Bay and Ma Wan. This service is available from 10am to 9pm between Monday and Friday (excluding public holidays). Should you have any special inquiry about delivery, please feel free to contact our Customer Service Department.

For successful orders placed between 9:30am to 3pm between Monday and Friday (excluding public holidays), we would contact you to confirm estimated time slot  for delivery on the following business day or at another time of your convenience (except Sundays and public holidays). We will deliver as scheduled to the best of our ability but it may be affected due to seasonal factors and festive periods (e.g. Christmas or Chinese New Year) as we may need to cope with high volume of orders, or weather conditions (typhoon or black storm).  

You will become the owner of the merchandise you have ordered when they have been delivered to you. Once merchandise has been delivered to you they will be held at your own risk and we will not be liable for the loss or damage. 

RETURN & REFUND. Subject to our policy, you are entitled to exchange products which are found to be damaged or not in good condition upon delivery. In such case, you can contact our customer service (+852 2528 5025) to make arrangement for exchange within 48 hours of receipt. Otherwise under normal circumstances, we would not accept any request for exchange of products or cancellation of orders.

If we agree you are entitled to an exchange but the products to be exchanged are sold out, you may return such product to us and apply the amount paid to buy alternative product(s). In exceptional case at our sole discretion, we will refund the amount paid to your bank account (takes about 4-6 weeks).

LIABILITY. The company shall not be liable for any failure to meet obligations caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control. In case of any dispute, our determination shall be final.

PRIVACY PROTECTION. We are committed to safeguarding the privacy of individuals with respect to personal data. We therefore make sure that our policies and practices in relation to the collection, use, retention, transfer and access of personal data comply with the requirements of the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Chapter 486) under the laws of Hong Kong.
